A concert dedicated to Mikael Tariverdiev will be held within the framework of the International Organ Festival
YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS: Within the framework of the Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Organ Festival, a concert dedicated to the famous composer Mikhail Tariverdiev will be held on October 22 at the Komitasyan Chamber Music House.
According to "Armenpress", organist Lada Labzina (Russia) will perform at the evening. The program includes Mikhail Tariverdiev's organ works, in particular, Organ Concerto #1 "Cassandra", Five Choral Preludes for Organ from the "Imitation of Old Masters" series, Symphony for Organ "Chernobyl".
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the initiative of the National Center for Chamber Music, the Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Organ Festival is being held in Armenia from September 26 to November 6. As part of the festival, 12 concerts will be held in Yerevan, Kapan and Charentsavan.
Famous foreign organists Fabio Machera (Italy), Evgeny Avramenko (Russia), Jean-Pierre Stivers (Netherlands), Lada Labzina (Russia), Emmanuel Arakelyan (France) are participating in the festival. The organists will also hold master classes.
The Armenian Organ School is represented by Anna Bakunts, Karine Hovhannisyan, Harutyun Tagvoryan, Tereza Voskanyan, Hovhannes Manukyan, Armen Aghajanyan, David Hovhannisyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Vahagn Margaryan and Marina Nahapetyan.
