The National Center of Chamber Music realized the dream of Vahagn Stamboltsyan by launching the annual International Organ Festival in 2022.

 The first International Vahagn  Stamboltsyan  Organ Festival took place from September 26 to November 6 with support of  the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport  of RA. It featured famous organists from Armenia and other countries performing classical works, Armenian musical gems, and pieces by Armenian composers.

During the festival, masterclasses were held by organists who had come from abroad.

Alongside Baroque and classical music, Armenian sacred music was also performed. Within the framework of the festival, 12 concerts were held in Yerevan, at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall and the Hall of the Composers  Union of Armenian, as well as at Charentsavan Music School after Aram Khachatryan  and the Kapan State College of Art.

The concerts featured organists Jean-Pierre Steijvers (Netherlands), Lada Labzina (Russia), Fabio Macera (Italy), Konstantin Volostnov (Russia), Yevgeny Avramenko (Russia), Armen Aghajanyan, Tereza Voskanyan, Karine Hovhannisyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Lusine Sarajyan, Anna Bakunts, Hovhannes Manukyan, Vahagn Margaryan, David Hovhannisyan, Arpine Harutyunyan, Marina Nahapetyan, Harutyun Tagvoryan, as well as Elvira Margarian (soprano), Vadim Talalyan (flute), and the Saghmosergu men's choir of sacred music (artistic director and conductor: Vahe Begoyan). The festival closed with a gala concert featuring the early music ensemble "Tagharan" (artistic director and conductor: Sedrak Yerkanyan).

Organ concertos by George Frideric Handel were performed.
