On October 26 an exceptional concert took place at the Aram Khachaturian Music School in Charentsavan: famouse British organist and virtuoso performer Jonathan Scott gave an organ music concert.

The British organist presented Charentsavan's musical audience works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, George Frideric Handel, Marco Enrico Bossi, Edward Elgar, and Camille Saint-Saëns, in his own transcriptions for organ.

The Armenian organ school was represented at the concert by Vahagn Margaryan, director of the Charentsavan Music School after Aram Khachaturian  and organist, who performed organ works by Grigor Narekatsi, Taronetsi-Komitas, Yekmalyan, and Johann Sebastian Bach.

The concert was held as part of the third International Vahagn Stamboltsyan Organ  Festival, with the program bringing together masterpieces of Armenian and European classical music, presented through the interpretations of the two musicians.
