On October 25, as part of the third International Vahagn Stambultsyan Organ Festival, celebrated British organist Jonathan Scott gave a solo recital.

At the start of the concert, the musician addressed the audience with a few opening words, noting that this was his first time in Armenia and that he was deeply impressed. He emphasized that he had selected works for his Yerevan recital program that would best reveal the diverse tonal colors and capabilities of the magnificent organ at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall.

During the evening, the audience enjoyed the exceptional skill of the virtuoso performer and his original interpretations of the works of Bach, Handel and Vivaldi.

With his own arrangements, Jonathan Scott revives classic pages that were not originally written for the organ, revealing new instrumental tonal colors and stunning sound possibilities.
