Renowned Armenian and foreign musicians participated in the International Organ Music Festival
With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Armenia and the initiative of the National Center for Chamber Music, the Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Festival of Organ Music was held in September-November 2022.

The closing gala concert of the Vahagn Stamboltsyan International Festival of Organ Music was held at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall. Organists Armen Aghajanyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Anna Bakunts, Konstantin Volostnov (Russia), Harutyun Tagvoryan and the "Tagharan" ensemble of ancient music (artistic director and conductor Sedrak Yerkanyan) participated. Six organ concertos by G. F. Handel were performed.
12 concerts were held within the framework of the festival. In Yerevan, at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall and the Composers' Union Hall, in Charentsavan, at the Aram Khachaturian Music School and in Kapan State College of Arts.
The festival kicked off with a concert dedicated to the 153rd anniversary of Komitas.
Famous foreign organists Lada Labzina (Russia), Fabio Machera (Italy), Konstantin Volostnov (Russia), Jean-Pierre Stivers (Netherlands) and Evgeny Avramenko (Russia) participated in the festival. It should be noted that the last two organists also gave concerts in Charentsavan and Kapan.
The Armenian Organ School was represented by Anna Bakunts, Karine Hovhannisyan, Harutyun Tagvoryan, Tereza Voskanyan, Hovhannes Manukyan, Armen Aghajanyan, David Hovhannisyan, Lusin Sarajyan, Lusine Harutyunyan, Vahagn Margaryan, Marina Nahapetyan, Arpine Harutyunyan.
The festival was also attended by soprano Elvira Margaryan, flutist Vadim Talalyan, and the male choir of spiritual music “Psaghmosergu” (artistic director and conductor Vahe Begoyan).
Both classical works and organ arrangements of Armenian musical gems and works by Armenian authors were performed.
There were program concerts, including those dedicated to Komitas and Mikael Tariverdiev.
Tereza Voskanyan, organist and harpsichordist of the "Tagharan" ancient music ensemble, was awarded the gold medal of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia for her long-term activity and significant contribution to the field of organ art in Armenia.
